Tacofest now accepting applications for Beer Vendors

You know what really goes well with fresh tacos made with local ingredients? Delicious, cold, craft beer. What’s even better than eating fresh local tacos and drinking delicious beer? Doing it for charity.

We need your support in making Waterloo Region’s first Tacofest a success. Tacofest, happening Friday July 5th  from 6pm until 1am at THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener. The event will feature 10 different craft beer vendors, and we would like you to be one of them. All proceeds from sales of beer at the event will support Community Support Connections – Meals on Wheels and More, a local charity who works for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Featuring 10 local restaurants each paired with a local craft brewery serving their best brews, Latin music, piñatas, and a donkey you can have your picture taken with, Tacofest promises to be Waterloo Region’s next BIG event.

Our host and community partner, THEMUSEUM, will be running their new One Love Bob Marley Exhibit during Tacofest. Let’s get together and feel all right.

We expect between 5-600 people to attend Tacofest. While tacos come with the price of admission, patrons can buy beer tokens they can use to have a sampler glass, provided by us, filled by the vendors.

As a Tacofest craft beer vendor you will be featured in an exclusive article on our event blog located at wrtacofest.wordpress.com, detailed in event press releases, and featured in event advertising materials. Vendors who confirm their participation quickly will be featured in promotional ads in the Waterloo Region Record, our official media sponsor.

The 10 craft beer vendor spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis. If you have any questions about Tacofest, or would like to confirm your support now, please contact Matthew at 519-772-8787 x 224 or by email.
