One of our long time Tacofest supporters – Your Neighbourhood Credit Union is back again! With a few changes happening this year, they must have felt the same vibe. In previous years YNCU was our Entertainment Sponsor, bringing us CAZU, a nine piece Latin band, and last year – Safe as Houses, an alt-folk band from Kitchener-Waterloo. Switching things up this year, they’re helping to make sure Tacofest isn’t a dry event (we’re kidding…kind of). YNCU is joining Tacofest as our 2016 Green Sponsor, allowing us to supply some stylish reusable sample glasses that Tacofesters can taste the sweet, sweet deliciousness of craft beer out of, all while saving the planet!
YNCU is proud to be involved in helping to build a better community by giving back in a variety of ways. Each year they set aside a portion of the pre-tax profit earned by the Credit Union, specifically for this purpose. They support a number of organizations serving Southwestern Ontario and we’re so appreciative that Community Support Connections – Meals on Wheels and More is part of that list.
