Waterloo Region Tacofest promises three things: tacos, craft beer, and good times. Proceeds from the award-winning event will support Community Support Connections, a local charity that works with hundreds of local volunteers to help over 6,600 people live happily and healthy in the comfort of their own homes.
Not only that, but Tacofest is a celebration of our region’s phenomenal local restaurant and brewery scene. Featuring local restaurants and their finest tacos, local craft breweries serving their best brews, music, face painting, and more. Every-year, trophies are awarded by our expert panel of judges, and you – the attendees. Tacofest promises to rock Waterloo Region for the 10th year once again.
All proceeds from Tacofest go directly to Community Support Connections. Community Support Connections is a non-profit organization that promotes the health of the whole person – mind and body – through support services. Serving over 6,600 seniors and people with disabilities in Waterloo Region, their aim is to enable people to live at home with independence and dignity. Community Support Connections is creating a community where everyone feels at home – valued, connected, and empowered.
Join us for the 10th annual Tacofest on June 16th, 2023 Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum. This new location boasts seamless accessibility in their indoor space, as well as plenty of beautiful outdoor space for even more festivities.
Tickets include parking, unlimited tacos from our region’s celebrated local restaurants, snacks like gourmet cotton candy, entertainment, and activities. Additionally, you’ll have access to our region’s top-notch beverage vendors (beer sold for $1 per 4.5 oz pour) as well as an opportunity vote for your favourite taco and brew of the night (and help your favourite win a glorious trophy).
Tickets will be available beginning on Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) at noon, here. Note that this is a 19+ event and valid photo ID will be required to enter.
