Without our vendors, Tacofest would be missing two crucial ingredients. Every year, they donate all of the food and drink at our annual fiesta.
Waterloo Region: we want you to help us thank them! Leading up to the big event, we’ll profile our vendors one by one. So next time you are looking for a great meal or local brew, you know where to turn.
A few years back, the Tacofest team heard something from you over and over again. Sure, the event was amazing, but what if you didn’t like beer, or needed to avoid the gluten? Thankfully, we were able to solve this problem when KW Craft Cider signed on to be one of our vendors and we are very pleased to say they will be back for 2017!
They offer a premium, cider prepared from five types of apples, including the Golden Russetts, Irared, Northern Spies, Empire and McIntosh varieties. The end product is a dry, clean, refreshing drink that goes very well with whatever taco you happen to be eating at the time.
Beyond this, they do offer an ever changing line of seasonal ciders including a Vanilla Cream, a Thai Ginger and their fantastic Pumpkin Spice. So next time some multinational “coffee” company tries selling you some overpriced, way too sweet, fake tasting “latte”, do what we do and grab a cider instead.
